Hello, I'm Jamie Clayton. I am a candle maker and lover of learning! Apparently, I do not like being bored, so with a full-time job, a part-time job, mom of 2, wife, I have added candle making to my list! Every week I will share my experience while creating something new, it’s fantastic.

I started this Crackling Springs blog as a way to showcase my successes and failures in the world of candles. Over the years, I have come to realize all the horrible chemicals and products that I have been using in my home and around my family. I wanted to create a safer place at home for my kids to grow up, and create a warm, welcoming environment for all through the love of candles and the quality of ingredients that I chose. A wooden wick candle is one of life's luxuries that everyone should have!

With all the testing and feedback from friends and family, I am happy to bring you the best tried and true candles that we make! This is the perfect place for you to be as everything here has been tried, tested, and perfected by Crackling Springs. Because of this, you can be fairly confident that you will fall in love with one of our fragrances, and to be quite frank, we can't always say that about most of the internet items these days, can we?
If you are looking for that unique gift for family members, clients, yourself, we are here for you! This could also simple be a trigger to keep yourself busy while possibly trying to make some candles yourself! Many people coming here are eager to learn more, so I will try to document my making process and stories along the way.
